Andrew Kudless has been exploring Additive Manufacturing in Augmented Reality with students at the University of Houston. Students work with a virtual model displayed in layers to extrude concrete into a bed of sand. By repeating this process with a fresh screed it is possible to build up approximate shapes and forms that retain and exaggerate the unweildly character of the extruded material.
