Students at the Singapore University of Technology and Design have used augmented reality to assemble a series of complex space frame structures with Fologram. The structures were assembled as part of the Augmented Design class, where architecture students learn to use augmented reality tools to help them build complex structures. Using HoloLens mixed reality smartglasses, students can design and construct their works without having to draw out building plans. You can see more of this project here.
