The team from Forren Projects have used Fologram to assist in the construction of a complex fiber concrete weaving structure. The project, called ‘Augmented Weave’, explores the use of a cementitious composite and augmented reality technology to develop minimal bending building components resulting in reductions in building component weight, material resource consumption, and material waste from concrete formwork.
The project uses augmented reality in Fologram to fabricate timber props accurately. The form of the structure is then weaved through these props based on a 3D hologram displayed in Fologram. You can read more about the project here.
