The art installation „Surya“ means sun and is derived from „Surya Namaskar“, the sun salutation. It is a sequence of twelve yoga poses and is practised in the morning facing the sun. This exercise is good for the circulation and is said to energise you for the day. The yoga poses are repeated several times as a dynamic transitional sequence and thus form a cycle. This cycle is reflected in the design and manifests itself as spiral-shaped lamellae. The art installation is the path to meditation and the sun. You enter Surya through a small entrance that consciously triggers an intense transformation upon entering.
