Fabrication of Flourish by UAP - DesignRobotics.net
UAP have used Fologram to assist with the fabrication of Flourish, an artwork by Katrina Tyler consisting of hundreds of unique, hand-beaten steel discs. Fologram was used to guide fabricators in the selection and placement of the discs, that were then welded together following a holographic guide. It’s really exciting to see both the artist, designers and fabricators engage with augmented reality at all stages of the design to production process, and you can read more about the project on the Design Robotics blog:
