We extended the approach to mixed reality bricklaying developed with All Brick to full scale construction on the Royal Hobart Hospital (designed by Lyons Architecture). In order to maintain a consistent bond along the curving benchwork, All Brick needed to work with a large collection of cut brick types that templated and fabricated using holographic guides. Holographic models of the benchwork enabled the AllBrick team to work in completely different sections of each course in parallel while still maintaining consistent bonds and eliminating the risk of accumulative error.
