Kristof Krolla and Garvin Goepel have used Fologram to guide manual fabrication actions for the development of complex geometries built with bamboo.
The aim was to combine bamboo constructions and digital technologies, based on digital design research used for the implementation of bending-active bamboo shell structures. 3D AR Holographic guild lines were used instead of conventional 2D-drawing to construct a bamboo installation by a team of students at Bella Artes University with a set of multiple HoloLens’s and handheld smartphone devices.
